By accessing or using our Services—including our website, mobile application, AMart Assurance, AMart Logistics, and Farm Booking features—you signify your consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions. You acknowledge that this policy is a legally binding agreement between you and Carbion.   • Profile & Farm Data: User-generated content such as your bio, profile picture, and detailed information about your farm, including but not limited to, land ownership records, acreage, crop types, historical yield data, soil health reports, and livestock details.
  • Financial Data: Bank account details, credit/debit card information, and other payment data for processing transactions. You also consent to us collecting financial information necessary for credit risk assessment and scoring.
  • Communications: Any communication with us or other users through the platform, which may be recorded and analyzed for quality, training, and strategic purposes.
• b) Information We Collect Automatically:
  • Platform Usage Data: Your search queries, clicks, pages viewed, time spent on the platform, and transaction history.
  • Device & Connection Data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, mobile network information, and unique device identifiers.
  • Geolocation Data: Real-time GPS location of your device and any vehicles associated with AMart Logistics to enable logistics tracking, optimize supply chains, and verify service delivery.
• c) Information We Collect from Your Operations (The Data Engine):
  • AMart Logistics Data: We collect a continuous stream of data from all logistics operations, including real-time vehicle location, route efficiency, delivery timelines, temperature and humidity data from enabled vehicles, and handling procedures. This data is critical for ensuring supply chain integrity and is a core asset of Carbion.
  • AMart Assurance Data: To provide the AMart Assurance badge, we collect and analyze all data related to our verification process, including quality inspection reports, produce photographs, lab test results (e.g., for pesticides, soil quality), and farmer compliance records. This data underpins the value of our trusted marketplace.
  • Farm Booking Data: For our advanced Farm Booking services, we collect extensive data on pre-booked harvests, including projected yield, pricing agreements, cultivation methods, input usage (fertilizers, pesticides), and performance data against contractual obligations. This forms the basis of our predictive market analytics.
  • IoT & Connected Device Data: If you use any smart farming equipment, sensors (e.g., soil moisture, temperature), drones, or other IoT devices that you choose to connect with the AMart platform, you grant us the right to continuously collect, store, and analyze all data streams generated by these devices.
• d) Information from Third-Party Sources:We reserve the right to enrich our data by obtaining information from third parties, including credit bureaus, government databases (e.g., Mandi prices), weather service providers, and other strategic data partners.

3. How We Use Your Information: Powering Carbion’s Vision

We use your information only for purposes disclosed in this Privacy Policy and in compliance with applicable law. Any use of aggregated or anonymized data is performed in a manner that does not identify you personally.

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the AMart platform.
  • To process transactions, manage logistics, and administer the AMart Assurance and Farm Booking programs.
  • To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
• b) Strategic Growth & Data Monetization (The Carbion Data Mandate):
  • Development of Proprietary Analytics: To anonymize, aggregate, and analyze the collected data to create proprietary market intelligence, predictive models, and strategic insights. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Predictive Yield & Price Modeling: Using Farm Booking, Logistics, and IoT data Marketplace activities to forecast crop yields and market price fluctuations.
    • Credit & Risk Scoring: Developing sophisticated credit scoring models for farmers and other platform participants, which may be used internally or licensed to financial institutions.
    • Supply Chain Optimization: Creating proprietary algorithms to optimize agricultural supply chains on a regional and national level.
    • Commercialization of Data Products: To generate aggregated and anonymized insights derived from platform usage for research, analytics, and market intelligence purposes, which may be shared with external organizations such as agribusinesses, commodity market participants. Such insights do not identify any individual user and are not used to make decisions about specific users.
    • AI & Machine Learning Development: To use the entirety of the collected data to train and refine Carbion’s proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning models for precision agriculture, market forecasting, and risk management.
• c) Marketing & Communications:
  • To send you promotional materials, personalized offers, and other communications that we believe may be of interest to you.
